Winter is here again. The Spawn is starting a little late this year, but the fish are getting ready.   They should be going full speed around the first of December.  This is a great thing.  Most of the crowds will be gone by then and you can get in some great fishing.  The river is in great shape, and the fish will be huge.  We also start our winter rated in December so call now and let us show you a fishing trip you will remember for a long time!ThanksChris

Its getting to be that time of the year, and what away to start off fall fishing!  Check out this monster Rainbow that our Guide Mike Whiteford  and his clients caught this morning.  This rainbow is most likely the biggest ever caught on the Little Red.  Its defiently the biggest rainbow that anyone around here has heard of in 20+ years! She weighed in a 17 pounds and had a length of 31 inches.  What a beautiful fish! With fall coming, fishing is getting better and better every day. Hey EveryoneThis Weekend is free fishing weekend.  That means you don’t need a fishing license or a trout stamp this weekend!  It couldn’t come at a better time.  The fishing has been awesome!  They are running just a little water in the afternoons so you can get a great day of fishing in.  I still have plenty of boats and a couple of cabins open.  Give us a call and take advantage!

what a wonderful time we had at Lobo Landing July 28 -30, 2010. the resort was awesome, cabins very clean and we were welcomed wonderfully, we definitely will be back soon.

LORDY LORDY!!!  Spring is here!This has been a great week to be on the river.  Winter was too long and too too cold!  I was on the river Sunday and saw the first caddis hatch of the spring, so it wont be long now.Fishing has been good and it will be great in the weeks to come.  The Hatchery has started stocking again, and the water has been very clear.  They are running some water in the mornings, but it doesn’t get to Lobo until around noon.   Also the upper river has been fishing good  after they shut the water off late in the day.cabins are booking up fast for March and April so get em while they last.The white bass will start running on the lake soon, and we have spin fishing and fly fishing trips available. Did I just say fly fishing on the lake for bass???  YES I did, and it is a blast!!!See ya on the river,Chris

They are great for the out of town guys coming for the weekend.  Easter weekend was great for fishing.  Caught a 5 pound brown down river.  Corp said they’ve been generating 2 units since 6 this morning but maybe we can catch another break this weekend.
