Heber Springs, Arkansas is located in the north central part of the state on the shores of Greers Ferry Lake. The 40,000 acre lake offers a complete outdoor recreation experience with great fishing, sailing, camping and a host of water sports that include scuba diving, water skiing, wind surfing and kayaking.
Just below the dam of Greers Ferry Lake is the tail waters of the Little Red River. The river offers 30 miles of world class trout fishing for rainbow, German brown, cutthroat and brook trout.
The Heber Springs area also offers many other activities such as golf on four championship courses, tennis at the Fairfield Bay complex, antique hunting and cultural activities at the nearby Ozark Folk Center. |
