- Q. How is the fishing?
A. The fishing is always good here. The Little Red River maintains the same temperature year-round; hence, the trout are always biting.
- Q. What are your rates?
A. Visit our Accommodations and Rates page for current season rates. For special rates, be sure to check the Specials page.
- Q. Can I make reservations via the Internet?
Immediate bookings online are not available due to the always changing availabilities. We encourage you to forward your Reservation Inquiry (link) via email, and a staff member will respond as soon as possible. Or, feel free to contact the Resort at: (800) 659-8330.
- Q. How do I get to your resort?
A. To see driving directions from all major cities surrounding us, please go to our driving directions page.
- Q. Do you allow pets?
A. In order to protect the enjoyment of all guests, we do not allow dogs at the Resort. Lobo Landing Resort’s yellow lab mascot – Odie – is a friendly companion to all guests.
- Q. Do any of your cabins have fireplaces?
Yes, several of the existing and all of the new cabins have fireplaces.
- Q. Do any of your cabins have any king- or queen-size beds?
A. Yes. Although most of our cabins provide queen, full and twin size beds, we do have several units that have king size beds. Should you require a king size bed, please make mention of this request when making your reservations. We will do our best at accommodating your request.
- Q. Does the Resort provide bed linens?
A. Yes. The Resort supplies all sheets, covers, towels, and rags. Please leave all linens within each cabin.
- Q. Are the cabins inclusive of kitchenettes?
A. All cabins include a kitchenette that comes complete with refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave, plates, bowls, forks, spoons, knives, pots, pans, and many other common items. If you are going to be cooking something that requires the use of a specialty item, you might want to bring it with you.
- Q. Should I want to bring a group, do you have large accommodations?
A. Yes. For those looking for that perfect location for their next family reunion, boy/girl scout adventure, or church retreat, Camp Lobo is being created. Camp Lobo will offer two (2) spacious bunkhouses, each accommodating up to 14 guests. A chaperone/leader cabin is situated just adjacent to the bunkhouses allowing for ideal supervision. Guests of Camp Lobo will enjoy great fun in the sun while taking part in their favorite pool water sport. A screened in gazebo is a great location for taking a break from the fun to grab a quick lunch.
- Q. Do all of the cabins have a river view?
A. No. Cabins described as having a riverfront view are located within casting distance from the river. Those cabins described as being poolside or riverside are located within walking distance to the river, tackle shop, restaurant and launching ramp. The new cabins have magnificent two-story views of the river.
- Q. Is the Resort a Smoke-free environment?
A. Yes. After countless requests, we are proud to announce that the Resort has become a smoke-free environment for our guests. Guests are allowed to smoke in open outdoor areas at least 15 feet from any building/cabin entrance. Those who do not adhere to the Resort rules will be asked to leave the Resort.
- Q. What are the restaurant hours?
A. Our restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch Friday - Sunday (7 AM - 2 PM). We offer a full breakfast menu including eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, hash browns, toast, biscuits & gravy, all served with Southern Hospitality. Hamburgers, chicken tenders, grilled cheese sandwiches, along with fries, of course, really hit the spot for lunch. Drop in and see what Ms. Esty and Ms. Virginia are cooking. Ms. Virginia makes some of the best homemade cookies.
- Q. Are any of the cabins for sale?
A. Several of the new cabins along the river will be available to purchase for those wishing to make their stay at Lobo Landing more permanent. Pricing for the cabins vary in cost according to there size. Those interested in making Lobo Landing Resort ‘home away from home’ will be excited to discover over 23 riverside lots available for sale. The lots will not only offer convenience to the river, but also, a ‘hassle free maintenance’ environment. Homeowners will have the opportunity to secure one of the new boat slips at Lobo Landing Resort’s Boating Center for their boating convenience.
