What's New

The New Look at Lobo Landing Resort - We are excited to announce the extensive renovations that are presently underway at Lobo Landing Resort. If you liked the cozy comforts of past trips, you are going to love the new look that Lobo Landing will have in 2004.

The Cabins
The Cabins As major renovations are underway, great lengths have been made in preserving Lobo Landing Resort’s character and traditions that many have enjoyed in the past, while adding the comforts of inviting amenities that all will enjoy in the future. Michael Baty, owner of At the Cabin/Chestnut Hall Interiors, has been contracted to refurbish the existing cabins with all new furnishings and design quaint living areas in the new riverfront cabins. “Our goal is to create somewhat of a "Montana Fly Fishing Lodge" feel while guests stay at Lobo Landing Resort”, says Tosha May, co-owner of the Resort.

Each original riverfront log cabin has been outfitted with new furnishing emulating the appealing essence of a traditional Montana Fishing Lodge. The cabins' exteriors have been rejuvenated by stripping and re-staining the wood facade. Should it rain during a stay at Lobo Landing, guests can kick back and enjoy the sounds of rain hitting the new green metal roofs while watching the river go by.

The eleven new riverfront cabins being added along the River are a blend of “fishing lodge meets the modern world”, appointed with whirlpool baths, vaulted ceilings with full height river views and riverfront covered porches. Each riverfront cabin is located within “casting distance” of the Little Red River. Guests will also enjoy the close proximity to Camp Lobo, the swimming pool, tackle shop, boat and fishing center and river launching ramp. Several of the new cabins along the river will be available to purchase for those wishing to make their stay at Lobo Landing more permanent. Pricing for the cabins vary in cost according to there size.

Boating Center and Equipment
Boating Center and Equipment

Lobo Landing Resorts existing boat dock has been removed and replaced with a state of the art boating center capable of accommodating 24 boats. Guests and homeowners will enjoy the dock’s covered walkways and family fishing area. The Resort has outfitted the new Boating Center with all new rental fishing boats and motors.

The Restaurant
Our restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch Saturday - Sunday (7 AM - 2 PM). We will try to offer extended hours for large groups. Please inquire when making your reservations. We offer a full breakfast menu including eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, hash browns, toast, biscuits & gravy, all served with Southern Hospitality. Hamburgers, chicken tenders, chicken sandwiches, BLT’s, and grilled cheese sandwiches, (including fries of course), really hit the spot for lunch. Drop in and see what Ms. Esty and Ms. Virginia are cooking. The homemade cookies are incredible.

Common Areas
Common areas within Lobo Landing Resort are presently being designed to add additional ambiance to the Resort Community. Pockets of outdoor gathering areas are being created throughout the Resort enabling guests and homeowners to not only enjoy the river, but also the nature that surrounds.

Camp Lobo at Lobo Landing
For those looking for that perfect location for their next family reunion, boy/girl scout adventure, or church retreat, Camp Lobo is being created. Camp Lobo will offer two (2) spacious bunkhouses, each accommodating up to 14 guests. A chaperone/leader cabin is situated just adjacent to the bunkhouses allowing for ideal supervision. Guests of Camp Lobo will enjoy great fun in the sun while taking part in their favorite pool water sport. A screened in gazebo is a great location for taking a break from the fun to grab a quick lunch.

Side Notes
As of July 2004, in an effort to focus on both visiting guests and homeowners at Lobo Landing, the Resort will no longer house mobile homes. We look forward to future development phases that may call for us to continue construction of new cabins as demand dictates.

Additional improvements are being made to the Resort’s Tackle Shop and Restaurant. We encourage you to personally come see all the changes being made at the New Lobo Landing Resort.
